The legendary flagship workstation KRONOS is back! The unique synthesizer workstation KRONOS III (Model 2025), featuring nine sound engines, returns in its third generation better than ever: It has been upgraded with hundreds of additional sounds, nearly double the SSD storage capacity, and a newly developed system architecture. These improvements are particularly noticeable in the significantly smoother workflow and much faster startup process. Visually, the new model impresses with an elegant design, featuring black-stained wooden side panels.
What remains unchanged are the sonic flexibility and extensive controller options that have always set the KRONOS apart: 9 sliders, 8 rotary knobs, an aftertouch-enabled keyboard, an X/Y joystick, a vector joystick, and a ribbon controller are all included, along with the popular KARMA function, a sequencer with 16 MIDI and 16 audio tracks, an advanced sampler, a versatile effects section, and a generously equipped connection panel. Among the highlights of the newly added sounds are a new Italian concert grand piano, a new "Tine EP 1 Early" electric piano, as well as curated sounds from premium third-party libraries and complete KORG libraries like "KRS-08 Best of TRITON," "KRS-04 Pro Splits and Layers," and "KRS-05 Ensemble Combinations." This makes the new KRONOS III not only the fastest member of its series but also by far the best-equipped.
